Photography became a big part of my life when I was travelling the world, being blown away by the beauty that surrounds us, and making fond memories (and crazy stories!) while exploring off the beaten path. I always wanted to remember exactly how I felt in those moments, and at its core that’s what makes capturing photos so important to me. Being able to provide images that you can look back on later and remember exactly how you felt. I also strongly believe that photos aren’t just for you, they are for you to pass on to others to remember you by. To sit around the table in 50 years time sifting through old albums and reminiscing.

My work is a combination of documentary, timeless, modern and real. While I love chasing the light for beautiful portraits and capturing all of your fun aesthetic details, I also find beauty in the little, quiet moments and I’m drawn to capturing images on your wedding day that will evoke an emotion when you look back on it. Sometimes I sit at my desk editing your images with a big grin on my face and a tear rolling down my cheek, that’s when I remember how special this job is and it drives me to keep seeking out those little gestures that mean more than we realise.

I’m a down to earth, laid back and slightly goofy people person. When I’m not getting all sentimental over your memories, you’ll find me taking cold morning dips in the ocean, planning my next adventure to a unique off grid cabin, and dreaming of the mountains or the smell of the fresh forest air. My life is a mix between simple, quiet, conscious moments, and chasing the next outdoor adventure.
